The Past
Our founder, Alex Kerr, pulled his hair out during recap season at Monumental Sports & Entertainment. He then went to the brand side and was frustrated with the lack of data provided when spending millions of dollars on sponsorship. He knew there had to be a better way.

The MVP
The MVP (Most Viable Product) of Trajektory was first built fully in Tableau. It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t pretty, but it worked! Alex started pitching his product with professional teams, which received immediate recognition as a need in the sponsorship reporting space.

Go Live
The need was clear, but it was time to bring the Tableau dashboards to life. In comes co-founder Matt Powers, our engineer extraordinaire, who assembled an incredible team to build the visually impactful and capable dashboard and insights elements of the Platform.

Investment
Trajektory sought investment and received an almost-unheard-of 4 term sheets raising a $4M seed round led by Tech Operators. This was quickly followed by an extension round of $3.5M including WISE Ventures – owners of the Vikings (NFL) and Orlando MLS & NWSL teams.

Today
Trajektory entered the sponsorship measurement space and quickly became an industry disrupter. By being the only holistic solution with integrity-driven methodologies, Trajektory is now a premier sponsorship measurement tool used by the biggest professional teams and brands.
